One special Christmas tradition that many of us at Common Sense Society take part in is the annual Scottish Walk in Alexandria, VA. This year, we welcome our members and alumni to watch the parade with us at 11:00 A.M., followed by an open house at 1:00 P.M. featuring holiday music on the bagpipes by Bob Mitchell and a light reception of seasonal desserts and refreshments. Bob Mitchell has more than thirty years of experience on the great highland bagpipes, Scottish small pipes, and border pipes. He studied the bagpipes in Scotland, toured with Celtic rock band Iona, and has performed at the White House.
