A Discussion with Lady Scruton

Event Overview

CSS–Hungary welcomes you to participate in a special event at the Andrássy Salon in Budapest, Hungary, on September 16, 2022.

Drawing on her experiences in farming at Sundey Hill Farm that she established with her late husband, Sir Roger Scruton, Lady Scruton will talk about the interconnected ideas of cultivation, property, community, and conservation. In her talk she will reflect on how harmful environmental regulations and subsidies destroy beautiful landscapes and livelihoods, and how instead local community initiatives help create places that people recognize as a shared home and thus worth caring for.

The event will be moderated by CSS President and C.E.O. Marion Smith and will begin at 6:00 p.m. CET.

Please note: Seats are limited, registrations are on a first come, first served basis.
