
Christine V. Emery, Ph.D.
VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP
Dr. Christine Emery is the vice president of membership for Common Sense Society, where she brings her experience in institutional capacity building and strategic planning to her role in leading CSS’s membership programming. She received her Ph.D. from George Washington University and began her career with cross-cultural consulting, where she advised law firms and foreign embassies. Appointed by President George W. Bush, she served as Vice President for Policy at OPIC (now the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation). Fluent in French and Spanish, and with an international background, she launched and maintained multiple levels of membership groups during her leadership stints at the Wilson Center, the George Washington University, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
